Can My Child Participate In NELLS?
Northeast Little League Softball (NELLS) has adopted the standard Little League International residency requirement for all levels of play. The policy has been adopted to be consistent with those currently in place within the surrounding communities with whom NELLS engages in both competitive and noncompetitive play.
A player is considered to be eligible to play in NELLS if at least one of the three following conditions are met:
- The player attends any of the following schools.
The reason for this Little League rule – and the reason NELLS follows it – is because it allows players, particularly those at the youngest ages, to play on teams with their friends from school.
